WOOT! I made it through ten days of being a freshman! WOOT! Just another I-Don't-Know-How-Much-More! Oh well! Okay so I just finished homework. Haha actually i still have to read my IVC books, but I'll do that later. I still need to finish spanish homework, but I'll do that in the morning before 0 period. I have spanish at 4th period anyways. So. Let's break down my day:
Woke up at 5:50 to bike to school then went back to sleep. Mom sent me at 6:15.
0 period - Biology
Biology was fun. The quiz was super easy, except for the second and third question. I guessed on the second question when it asked "what two groups are needed for an experiment?" I guessed and put control and experimental. Guess what? I got it right! WOOT! but sad part is I was confused and thought the graph was already titled, so I forgot to put my own title. Turns out it was the title to the data that was on there, so I messed up on that one. DOH!
1 and 2 period - IVC Early College
Lol Humanties today. The professor for Humanties is WAYYY better than the teacher for Fine Arts. And a lot more fun to be around. We were laughing for like 90% of her class. In the end, we were assigned to analyze and review a movie that we like or don't like and support it. I did mine on the movie I was watching last night, "S.W.A.T." If you guys are lucky I might put it up on Zamble. Or I might just rewrite it. I'm thinking about that.
3 period - English 1H
Okay so we finished up the last presentation on the Secret Life Of Bees today, only to be assigned another mini-project. We were given the simile/metaphor/literary device and we were told to figure out which theme it went along with. We were given 6 themes as our choices, Coping, Choosing What Matters, Race Issues/Civil Rights, Motherhood/Mothers, Religion/Spirituality, and Freedom/Independence. I got like most of the quotes under freedom. I'm so gonna fail on this essay.
Break - I NEED TO GO TO THE BATHROOM
4 period - Spanish 2
Spanish was kinda fun. We didn't really do much. I kept bothering Alex about her trying to run for president when she doesn't even do her homework and can't be organized. I'm just playing. I'll most likely vote for her. Most people are voting for her just cause she's blond. Just goes to show how much we kids care about the political system. I'll have all the updates and stuff on the Beckman High Class Of 2012 website, (click the link for the site). I left my homework at school and hopefully I remember to do it tommorow morning!
5 period - Algebra 2H
Okay so Algebra was okay. But like, It always ges by so slow! WHY?! It's so fucking annoying. just sitting there and waiting and watching the clock all day. Ugh. Tiring. Stupid. But Mr. Beilin is pretty fun. But we've been reviewing the same things we learned last year for the last ten days. I'm starting to lose patience. We have a test on thursday. Pretty much review. I'm sure I'll do fine. We got back our postulates quiz. I got a 7.5/8.

6 period - Marching Band
Okay so today in marching band we just practiced a few pieces and started working on Ancient and Honorable. We're playing at the football game on friday at Irvine High so I hope to see you all there. Freshman Year - Day 9
OKAY!!! WHATSUP everybody! Heh how you all doing? This blog as well as my other two have been transferred to Live Journal as well, but I'll still be posting here. I'll actually be posting here first and then copying it onto Live Journal! WOOT! My hope is to get more people to be reading my experience. I also started a new group on Live Journal called "Beckman Class Of 2012" so check it out. So far there's 5 members. I'm trying to get as much of the freshman class in as I can. So spread the word guys! Okay, let's break down my day...
Woke up at 6:45 AM to go to 0 period. (Tardy - Slept in) (IT'S MY FIRST TARDY EVER!?)
0 period - Biology
Okay so it was so embarrassing that I walked into biology ten minutes late. And stupid me my alarms wouldn't go off, So i woke up at 6:45 and then had to rush to get ready for school. I was ten freaking minutes late and walked in while he was talking about the warm up. I got a tardy. *Sad Face* That's my first ever tardy. Great way to be starting high school... Well Anyways. We didn't do much today, just count the number of shrimp that hatched in our experiments. There were so many shrimp. One of the petri dishes had like 480 shrimp! (Yeah we counted them all... Just kidding. I have a life.) Well, I have quiz tommorow. Hope I'm not late...
1 and 2 Period - Early College
Okay so today we had fine arts. The professor was BITCH. I mean, she's still nice and all, but she's still a bitch. Okay so our assignment was to read chapter 2 and I "forgot" to. Whew. Luckily we didn't have a quiz on it. But she was like "Okay, we can't have side convos anymore. Everytime one pops up, I'll add another question to your quiz on wednesday." I'm thinking, "give us a break lady. We're high schoolers."
3 Period - English 1H
This was kinda cool. I mean, we had a few presentations for the "Secret Life Of Bees" We mostly just sat there and did nothing. Well "take notes." But still. Who really cares about their notes? I don't =P. I was pretty much writing down random crap to make it look like I was writing decent notes. Alex got in trouble for texting in class! HAHA! Nathan's presentation was hilarious. Took too long, but it wa HILARIOUS!
Break - I NEED FOOD!

Spanish was okay. We had a tardy lockout. Unfortunately, our spanish teacher is always late, so yea. We were all tardy. =P But she wasn't there to mark us tardy so alls fine. We didn't do much. Talk about conjugating verbs and shit. OH CRAP! I LEFT MY HOMEWORK AT SCHOOL! SHIT! I hope I finished it. I doubt I'd remember tommorow. UGH. This is gonna suck. Oh well. GOTTA REMEMBER! GOTTA REMEMBER!!!
5 Period - Algebra 2H
Mr. Beilin is Awesome. He's pretty much the best and funnest teacher I have. But he talks fast. But that's what makes him fun! He does like accents. (I'm not sure if it's intentional or not.) What sucks is we get a lotta homework. Oh well. Alls good. He's still pretty nice.

We practiced our movements and sets for Halftime. Last game the brass section didn't move at all. This time we move all over the place. Diagonals, zigzags, foward, backward. Freshman Year - Day 8
Okay guys, this blog has been seperated from my normal personal blog just for the efficiency of it. I will be attempting to invite my friends in to write about their experiences as well. Who knows how that'll go. However, the first few blogs I'm afraid won't be transferred to this one. This project has been rescheduled in the long-term way. This is now designed as a portal to my experience through Beckman throughout the WHOLE 4 years. So. Let's breakdown today's day.
Period 0 - Biology Honors
So, today we did a little lab where we have to mix in brine shrimp eggs with salt water solutions and see which solution the eggs will hatch best in. Stupid me. I forgot to do my 0 period homework. I rewrote the same line 4 times on my homework to make it look like I did the missing research. I still got a stamp. That's cool. We kept spilling the water so we took the longest. We barely finished on time. I left without cleaning out my work area. Well I didn't do anything so that's okay.
Period 1 and 2 - Early College
Okay so today was stupid. We don't have classes on friday, (cause Humanties is on Tuesday and Thursday and Fine Arts is on Monday and Wednesday. We go by EC schedule.) So we were staying with Mrs. Loewenstein in her room. Yea. She's a bitch. And I actually heard her students liked her. We were talking softer than most people, down to a whisper even, and she was like "Okay that's too loud. Shut up. Complete silence. Not a single word out of any of you." I pretty much flipped her off a bunch of times. That was fun. Mr. Olmeda is a lot funner. He let us talk and NAP. HOW COOL IS THAT?!
Period 3 - English 1H
Okay so in English, well... We didn't really have english. We actually had to go to this boring ass assembly with all the other freshman english classes. Our principle can NOT talk loud. I was like "what?" and most people around us didn't even hear her either. The disciplinary teacher came by too. She was like "...We have canine units that come in and search cars also, so don't store drugs in your car." and I was like "What cars? We're 14 fucking years old. We can't drive."
Break - I NEED TO SLEEP
Period 4 - Spanish 2
Okay so, Spanish was kinda boring. It wasn't the usual fun and games that we usually play the whole day. It was more like read from the textbook and be boring. That wasn't a really fun class.
Period 5 - Algebra 2H
We learned about absolute values and absolute value equations. That was fun. We learned the "TRUE definition of absolute value." Mr. Beilin is pretty funny too, but he kinda talk too fast. Oh well. He's still funny.
Lunch - I NEED TO SLEEP AND EAT
Period 6 - Marching Band
Woot! The football game was fun as heck! but kinda tiring. Standing up for like 3 hours in a row and playing a trombone can really hurt your neck. Not a lot of the freshman were sore. So yea. We rocked! WOOT!
